breakthrough session now
What’s the goal of this free call?
This is a free one hour call between you and me to help you uncover exactly what’s been holding you back with your body, even if you’ve been stuck for a long time. During our time together we’ll create a roadmap so you know the specific tools and steps you need to take to unlock your physical freedom.
You’ll walk away clearer, more confident and ready to take the next steps you need to make a breakthrough with your body.
Some have told me that this has been the best hour they’ve ever spent on their health and fitness, and has been more profound than years of therapy or other forms of bodywork.
After the call if you would like some support in helping you become the strongest version of yourself beyond the call, we can talk about that too.
But before you book, know this: please only schedule a call if you’re ready to do the work and make now your time. This is not a call to just collect more information. It’s about playing full out and committing to your transformation.
If you are ready to dive deep (even if you’re a little scared) this is for you. Take the leap.
I look forward to speaking with you soon,
Please give a few seconds for the calendar to load 🙂
A few things you should know
I worked with Jonathan after a car accident had sidelined me from exercising the way I wanted to and was used to. I had picked up some unwanted weight, lost a lot of core strength, and being stiff and sore was my new normal. It so was not working for me, but I couldn’t just jump back into the gym and felt really stuck and frustrated about it; getting going again was also really challenging because of my work schedule. Jonathan helped me on two fronts: he gave me some daily exercises and practices that I could do to get my body used to moving and being strong again, and he helped me work on my mindset that was so focused on what I’d lost rather than what I could still do. As a result of working with him, I was able to get moving again, incorporate his exercises into a daily-is routine, and soon found my way back to the gym. Whenever I falter from my routine, I go back to the same mental and physical exercises that I gained from working with him.

I have seen great improvements in my mobility, flexibility, but most of all my ability to control my movements. I feel the extra attention to awareness has enabled me to really slow down and feel confident in each movement and allows me to fully be present. I am not only feeling the calmness and focus from the mindfulness aspects of these exercises, but also am noticing the increasing neural mapping of the movements and how over time I am slowly able to make more precise adjustments. It really is an amazing feeling!
—Alex Tijerna, Wilderness School Instructor
“Working with Jonathan I’ve discovered serenity and peace of mind with my body. I’m experiencing greater confidence in my ability to know what my body needs and am building consistent movement habits.
I’m now able to hold a deep squat for the first time ever and have built a consistent movement practice. Both achievements are helping me renovate my future home: I can now lift and carry with good posture and without fear.”
—Alessia Maggi, Professor and wife
I moved to Portland 5 years ago for residency training as a physician and found my passion, pole dancing, at the same time. Ever since then, I’ve been struggling to become more flexible for pole. I decided to work with Jonathan because traditional stretching wasn’t getting me any closer to my goals. Between a relatively sedentary 9-5, and high-impact, prescriptive dance classes, I was searching for a more sustainable way to move my body. Training with Jonathan was the breath of fresh air that I was looking for. He makes mobility a game, so our sessions together felt like recess! I was never intimidated because his feedback was so encouraging and non-judgmental. He customized my training program based on my individual goals and gave me specific exercises to work on in between our sessions. At the end of our 3 months together, I am consistently dropping down into both my left and right splits, and am finally able to fully extend my arms in a backbend!
Mobility training has taught me to listen to my body and respond to what it needs, which allows me to push the boundaries of my abilities in a safe way. Instead of just doing what I’m told in a class, I am now more in tune with how my body moves organically, which has helped me become a better dancer too.
—Sam Gerbasi, Physician and pole dancer
“I have had several private training sessions with Jonathan and found his playful, warm and intentional style energizing and confidence building.
He explores the world with a thoughtful curiosity that is truly inspiring, and with his encouragement I am climbing more trees, traversing more moss covered creek beds, and bringing a greater sense of play to my time outdoors than I have experienced in many years.”
—Daniel Addy, Massage therapist
“I’ve always struggled with standardized gym routines and fell out of them quickly due to boredom. The training gave me a whole new confidence in myself and what my body was capable of. I realized that things I thought would take months to achieve would only take weeks. I learned how to be curious and playful, yet mindful and calm. At the end of each day, I was always so grateful for the training and walked away a better man. Thank you for everything – I will carry the lessons I learned with me every day.”
—Coen Vazquez, Office Manager and uncle
“The movements from Jonathan where like balm to my hips. Since the program started I’ve experienced some pain-free mornings in my hip that I haven’t felt for at least 8 months!”
“I notice just how much improvements in squatting make for me on a daily basis in some of the smallest ways… getting groceries, cleaning the house, even getting in and out of the car.”
—Chris Lenn, Acupuncturist
“I no longer start the day walking like some Frankenstein monster unable to bend my joints. General movement is all easier, and that feels good. The great thing about these exercises is that they’re not based on pushing the body and muscles until they cry, it is more a conversation you have gently getting to know each other again.
